“Our sweet and tiny baby girl joined our family on May 3rd afternoon and we’ve been in seventh heaven ever since,” Arnold, 29, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, May 6, noting their little girl’s nickname, June Cusick, before going into detail about her C-section experience. “Baby came out first, and I actually got to see most of those births through the plastic curtain, which I couldn’t see with Sage.”
She added: “When it came time to stick her head out, we saw that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the girl’s neck (explains why it was in the buttock). It was extremely difficult for them to pull her head out, and the umbilical cord tightened around her neck as they pulled. When they finally pulled her head out, they quickly untangled the rope and she was wrapped around our sweet girl’s neck 6 times. A very scary and shocking moment for everyone in the room. … Our little June went out to fight and we are so proud of her and just love her 💕. We enjoy every moment with our girls.”
So you think you can dance Earlier this month, Alum took to social media to share that she and her 30-year-old husband welcomed their second child, a girl.
“She is here and healthy. Arrived this afternoon. Sharing more soon,” Arnold captioned the Instagram Story video with her newborn on Thursday, May 4.
The Utah native first revealed she was pregnant with her second child in October 2022.
“Honestly, it still seems a bit surreal. It’s just crazy, but we’re so happy,” Arnold said. E! News at the time, adding that she and Cusick “had been trying” to grow their family for a while. “It was something we knew we wanted, so it was such a huge blessing. We are excited to expand our family.”
Days after she shared the happy news, the professional ballroom opened up about how difficult it was for her to conceive baby #2.
“Trying to conceive can be the most difficult, frustrating, difficult, (all) absorbing thing. It’s just something that really captures your life,” Arnold explained. In November 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting another girl.

The high school sweethearts got engaged during a visit to Africa in December 2014 and exchanged vows in their hometown of Utah in June 2015.
After nearly five years of marriage, Arnold revealed she was pregnant with her first child in May 2020.

In July 2020, the choreographer was candid about her struggles in the first 12 weeks of her pregnancy.
“I am now 21 weeks old and feeling great. I feel that the first twelve weeks people are not joking, the first trimester is very difficult, ”Arnold admitted. Us. “You don’t feel like yourself. So many things are changing. I had a little nausea. I’ve always been tired.”
The couple’s eldest daughter, Sage, was born via caesarean section in November 2020.
