Focus on the positive? Kim Zolchak-Biermann seemed to send a subtle message Croy Biermann in her first post since their divorce, which made headlines.
The 44-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared her video on Instagram Story on Wednesday, May 10, where she tried to play the online video game Fortnite. Zolczak-Biermann, who was clearly not wearing a wedding ring, smiled as she tried to put on a gaming headset along with her 26-year-old daughter Brielle.
Zolczak-Biermann’s social media upload came after the 37-year-old former NFL player raised his eyebrows when he cast a shadow at her on his Instagram bio. “My ring made a big difference,” Biermann added in his profile on Tuesday, May 9, which previously read: “Husband. Father of six perfect munchkins. Athlete. You can google me and see that I wasn’t late for that party.”
Us weekly confirmed on Monday, May 8, that Bravo’s personalities have both filed paperwork to end their marriage after more than ten years together. Court documents received Us stated that the now separated couple indicated April 30 as the date of their separation.
Biermann noted in his court filing that he was seeking “temporary and permanent sole legal and sole physical custody” of his four children from the reality TV star. He also claimed ownership of the former couple’s home as he continues to look after the children.
According to legal documents, the former athlete also claimed that his marriage was “irrecoverably destroyed.”
Former Don’t be late The stars, who tied the knot in 2011, have four children: sons Croy “KJ” Jr., 11, and Kash, 10, and twins Kaya and Kane, 9. After their wedding, Biermann adopted Brielle and her sister Ariana, 21, who the Florida native had greeted during a previous relationship.
The eldest child, Zolchak-Birmann, for his part, apparently showed support for his mother by unfollowing Biermann shortly after news of their breakup broke.
Meanwhile, Bravo stars such as Andy Cohen And Lala Kent publicly weighed in on the shocking breakup. Look What’s Happening Live with Andy Cohen The 54-year-old host said he “didn’t expect” the former reality star to pull the plug on her marriage.
“(I) expressed my condolences because it is sad. They have kids and it was just a couple who seemed very much in love,” Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen Live said Tuesday on an episode of his SiriusXM radio show. “I was very surprised. It wasn’t news I ever expected to get. They were a couple, I thought they were in it for the long haul. (I was) very surprised (and I’m) sorry to hear that.”
Kent, 32, however, noted that Zolchak-Biermann and Biermann’s breakup made her think about her personal life.
“This is just another sign of what I want in my life, which is not having a partner. No partner, no happening, no happening.” — The beauty mogul, who was engaged to Randall Emmet from 2018 to 2021, add. “I can control myself. I can’t control other people, right? When you tell me “Here’s an intimate partner, you guys get along, maybe you’ll last forever, maybe they’ll tell you all the time.” It tells me: “Responsibility”. I don’t like commitment.”
Amid the drama, a source exclusively revealed Us that Zolchak-Birmann’s friends were surprised by the breakup. “Kim’s friends were shocked to learn that she and Croy are having marital problems and are getting a divorce,” the insider shared. “That was something she really hid from even her closest circle of friends.”
The source continued, “It’s heartbreaking for them because (their buddies) truly believed that Kim and Kroy had something really special and that it would last forever. Some of their friends believe they can work things out, but others aren’t so sure.”
