Prince Harry is ‘wrong’ that King Charles has shown ‘no desire’ to mend relations and his door is ‘always open’, sources say – after the Duke suggested his father and brother was blamed for the continuing rift.

Harry claimed a possible reunion with his family across the pond did not seem to be on the cards, adding that his father and brother had ‘absolutely no desire to reconcile’.

He made the claim in a trailer for an interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby as part of a promotional blitz for his new memoir, Spare, which comes out next week.

But those close to the king say he has repeatedly reiterated how much he loves both his sons and has made it clear that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are welcome to visit him at any time.

He says he saw a ‘tremendous glimmer of hope’ in conversations with the couple after the Queen’s death.

talking to MirrorAnother source said Harry’s latest claim was ‘complete and utter nonsense’.

He added: ‘It takes some audacity to say that when his father invited him to stay at his home in the UK to spend Christmas with the rest of the family and made public statements of support Continued to give.

He also told the publication: ‘[The King] Sad that he didn’t get the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren. He has always kept the doors open for his son and will continue to do so.

Representatives for Prince Harry have been contacted for comment.

However there have been suggestions by some royal experts that the already strained relationship between Harry and the rest of his family could be further strained upon the release of his memoir.

Insiders fear the Duke of Sussex and his brother William, Prince of Wales, will ‘never reconcile’ after the release of Spare, the book featuring stinging attacks on him and his wife Kate.

a source told Sunday Times: ‘Generally, I think the book [will be] Worse for them than the royal family expected.

‘Everything is laid bare. Charles gets out of it better than expected, but it’s especially hard on William, and even Kate gets a little broad.

‘These are subtle details, and a description of a fight between brothers. I personally do not see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.

The memoir is being ghostwritten by JR Moehringer, with some of the proceeds being donated by Duke.

Before it is published next week, a pair of interviews with Harry conducted by Mr. Bradby and CBS’s Anderson Cooper at a rented ranch in Montecito will be released.

In a trailer for the interview with Mr Bradby, the Duke of Sussex said he ‘wants to have my father and brother back’, adding his family has ‘shown no desire for reconciliation’.

Harry says ‘it never needed to be this way’ and refers to ‘leaking and planting’ before adding ‘I want a family, not an institution’.

He also says, in an apparent reference to the royals, ‘they think it’s better to have us as villains somehow’ – something that is unlikely to help the fractious relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the Firm, which Sources say already ‘hanging by a thread’.

But a royal expert said Harry and Meghan need to learn ‘silence is common sense’ and publicly airing dirty laundry is unlikely to help bring about the reconciliation the Duke claims he wants.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said the announcements made by the Sussexes to the press are not helping the fractured relationship.

‘Harry might like to ‘bring back his brother’ and ‘…bring back his father,’ but surely this catalog should know giving even more exposure is not the way to do it .

There are fears there will be no chance of a reconciliation following the publication of Harry's memoir. ‘The further allegation of the stories being put against him by the Palace in both interviews shows how bitter he and Meghan still are, but however much their fans may support it, there will come a time when even the media will perform at this level. Will get tired of

‘There comes a time when silence is betrayal,’ says Harry in trailer for CBS interview, referring to Palace’s inability to protect him from false news.

‘There is a point, too, if they wish to have any relationship, no matter how distant, with the royal family, when silence is common knowledge. When will the Sussexes learn this?’

In a trailer for his interview with US TV personality Anderson Cooper, Harry was asked why he didn’t air his grievances privately with the family.

In response he said: ”Every time I’ve tried to do it privately there have been briefings and leaks and planting of stories against me and my wife.

‘The family motto is never complain and never explain – it’s just a motto.’

He said: ‘They [Buckingham Palace] Will feed or chat to a reporter, and that reporter will literally spoon feed information and write down the story, and beneath that, they’ll say they’ve reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.

‘But the full story is commenting Buckingham Palace.

‘So when we’ve been told for the past six years, ‘We can’t make statements to protect you’, but you do it for other family members, there becomes a point when silence is a betrayal. ,

The clip confirms reports Harry will use his memoir to reveal details about a rift between himself and his brother the Prince of Wales, 40.

It comes after the Duke claimed in his Netflix documentary that William broke a promise to never leak stories or brief against each other after seeing the consequences of such actions in his father’s office.
