“The unconscious bias thing, it’s really nobody’s fault. But once it’s pointed out, or recognized within yourself, you need to fix it.

“It’s education. It’s awareness. It’s a constant work in progress for everyone, including me.”

He said: “Some family members were like ‘my wife went through that, so why treat your girlfriend any differently?’ ‘Why should you get special treatment?’ ‘Why should he be protected?’

“And I said ‘There’s an interracial element here.'”

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the couple also alleged that in the months leading up to the birth of their son Archie, a royal insider “expressed concerns and talks about how much skin he would have when he was born”. Could have been black.”

Elsewhere, the Duke of Sussex brands himself Prince of Wales “arch nemesis” In the book, as she claims she was physically assaulted by William and fell to the floor during a furious confrontation over the Duchess of Sussex.

Harry also alleged that it was William and the Princess of Wales who encouraged him to wear a Nazi uniform to a 2005 fancy dress party and “howled” with laughter when he saw it.

Other revelations in the book include how the brothers call each other “Willie” and “Harold”.

Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace have declined to comment on the claims about Harry’s book being leaked.
