Don’t have it! Ariana Madix close claims that Raquel Lewis thought Tom Sandoval was in an open relationship at the beginning of their romance.
During part 1 Vanderpump Rules the season 10 reunion, which aired on Wednesday, May 24, Sheana Shay claimed she heard from a mutual friend that Sandoval, 40, told Raquel, 28, that he and Ariana, 37, were not exceptional in April 2022.
The statement led some fans to think that perhaps the former pageant queen didn’t realize she was doing something wrong when she began her romance with entrepreneur Schwartz and Sandy.
“Could it be that he manipulated Raquel in the same way that Ariana claimed he manipulated her for years,” one fan commented. Page sixinstagram mail about Sheana’s approval. “I mean, why didn’t Raquel believe him if he told her so. He took her on vacation, to introduce her to her parents … “
Ariana herself then responded to a fan by setting a record. “Just to clarify – she DID NOT BELIEVE it,” she wrote. “She told someone that he told her that. There are no main fragments here, which is quite understandable. They can’t fit every piece of context into the show.”
Tom, for his part, denied ever telling Raquel he was in an open relationship, in a clip from Peacock’s extended version of the first part of the reunion after 38-year-old Sheana called him out.
“In the hot tub at Coachella – last April (2022) – Sandoval told Raquel that they were in an open relationship and that he was getting close to her,” the Good As Gold singer stated during an episode.

Despite denying the accusation, the Missouri native previously admitted that his months-long affair with Raquel was not his first indiscretion in his nine-year relationship with Ariana. (Us weekly confirmed in March that the duo had announced their departure due to an infidelity scandal.)
During Pump Rules In the season finale, Sheana asked Tom about his long alleged connection to the “Miami girl”, to which he replied, “Ariana always knew the truth about it.” The restaurateur repeatedly denied having sex with Annemarie Maldonado (née Kunkel), also known as “The Miami Girl”, at the beginning of her romance with Ariana in the series’ third season Pump Rules.
Something about her entrepreneur, for her part, showed why she kept her ex-boyfriend’s secret for so many years during her appearance on Watch what’s happening live with Andy Cohen earlier this month.
“They slept together, that was before he and I became exclusive,” she explained. “I didn’t want people to think badly of the person I planned to spend the rest of my life with.”
