Shutterstock (2)Birthday glitter! Raquel Lewis shelled out for a necklace with a lightning bolt – something like that, Tom Sandoval wears – on Vanderpump Rules before news broke in March that she and the co-founder of TomTom were dating.
“Oh, can I see that little lightning?” Raquel, 28 years old, asked in the preview video Wednesday, May 10, issue Pump Rules while shopping with Charlie Burnett. “Is that $780?”
The former pageant queen apparently hinted at her relationship with 40-year-old Tom in a preview that was released on Friday, May 5 with a jewelry purchase.

Bravo“I’m going to wear it,” Raquel said in the teaser, showing off the gold bolt design. She eventually agreed to pay the high price, calling the necklace “a birthday present for herself.”
Us weekly confirmed in March that singer Toma Sandoval and The Most Extras and then his girlfriend Ariana Madix broke up after nine years of marriage. Their public breakup coincided with reports that Tom and Raquel were involved in a months-long romance.
Not long after the scandal hit the headlines, eagle-eyed fans noticed that both the Missouri native and Raquel wore the same lightning bolt necklaces for months.
“How did no one notice? Oh my god!” one TikTok user wrote in the comments section of the video @fernannduh, claiming he had evidence that the couple’s accessories were on display when Tom was dating 37-year-old Ariana.
A second user joked, “It literally makes my skin CRAWWWWWL.”
Raquel was photographed wearing a chain at BravoCon in October 2022. The Schwartz & Sandy co-founder, for his part, was seen wearing his necklace in Season 10. Pump Rules premiere in February. He previously wore the piece at the opening of the Barry House in October 2022.
Throughout season 10 Pump Rules, Tom has denied having an affair with Raquel several times. However, after the affair became public, he made two public apologies for his actions. Raquel also issued a remorse statement in March.
Last month, Tom stated during an appearance on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast that he and Raquel were “taking a break” from their romance. He insisted that “we are really good friends” and are currently “not” friends with privileges.
However, earlier this month, eagle-eyed fans spotted Tom rocking the lightning item again, which seemed to show support for the former Miss Sonoma County.
The musician was spotted on Thursday, May 4, wearing a zip-up jacket while performing with his band The Most Extras on Long Island. The choice of style has raised eyebrows amid the ongoing negative repercussions that Tom and Raquel have received from fans and colleagues alike.
While Ariana went on with Daniel Waiwhom she was spotted kissing in April at Coachella, her co-stars are still nervous about their fall.
“They were two of my best friends, so losing them both at the same time (was hard)” Sheana Shay exclusively told Us on Wednesday, May 3, after learning about the romance of Tom and Raquel. “It was an immediate break, like we ended that night in New York. I finished them both. I could never imagine a friendship continuing after what I learned.”
